Catcott Parish Council comments
14/04/00005/HEP - Change of use and conversion of part of workshop to granny annex at 6 Little Leaze Lane - there was some cause for concern regarding this application. Whilst the council would not object to the change of use the council would object if conditions were not put on the development to safeguard the following matters:
There should be no separate sale of the property or use of the property as a separate unit.
It was noted that only one drive was shown on the plans whereas there are two drives existing at present. One of the drives should be blocked off to ensure that separate access is not available in the interests of ensuring that separation of the unit does not occur.
CONDITIONS AND REASONS
| 1 | The development hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this permission. Reason: In accordance with the provisions of Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1990. |
| 2 | The annexe shall only be occupied by a member of the family in the main dwelling. Reason: To ensure that the accommodation remains ancillary. |
| 3 | The annexe shall not be sold, leased, bequeathed or otherwise disposed of as a separate unit of accommodation apart from the main dwelling. Reason: To ensure that the accommodation remains ancillary. |
